Eccleshaw, Norbury Junction and Return

First day of spring and a fine cycle ride from Eccleshaw (via Penny van) around the long way to Norbury Junction for an Eccles cake and tea. Followed by a gentle cycle ride back to Eccleshaw.

22 miles, about 1 hour 45 minutes excluding tea stops.

My backs a lot better now and have been out for modest 8 mileish spins last two days before getting back into 16 per day commutes next week. If I get a recurrence and have to pull out you could get in Robot Boy. He climbs even slower than me...

My Furry friends

Good to be back on this fine site, well done chaps, Im quite interested in the old bike bus, but will they take pets as I'm bringing a few friends along for the ride and dont particulary want to leave them behind for the French to cook

A tour of a snowy (and very cold) Goyt Valley, Cat and Fiddle and back to Kettleshume, 2 hours 20 minutes of cycling, 19 miles and 1,000m of climbing.

Rennes to St Malo - local train?

146 miles from Nantes to St Malo, or 2 days worth of cycling I'd guess. How about we get the train from Nantes to Rennes and then local train or cycle distance from Rennes to St Malo?
