Sleepr train from Narbonne, close to Bezier? Gets us up to Paris for under £20 if we book early enough. I've never travelled by sleeper but would love to give it a go.

Narbonne is a good place to stop. Got a good place to camp on the beach (Gruissan Plage) and an excellent Huitres & moules de pleine mer (La Perle Gruissanasise).
