A Morning cycle ride into the heart of the old Potteries via the Trent and Mersey canals, passing the dilapidated factories and warehouses. Meandering round the Harecastle tunnel through a Park that used to be a colliery and into Kidsgrove, follow the canal and B roads to Congleton and into Cheshire. A quiet warm days ride without my cycling buddies and only the locals and wildlife to converse with.
